Music Album of 'Hijrat' Released

The music album of upcoming movie Hijrat was released yesterday. The music is composed by Sahir Ali Bagga. Ali Azmat, Umer Nadeem, Sara Raza Khan, Javed Bashir, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Hina Nasrullah, Nandini Srikar and Shalmali Kholgade have lend their voices to the soundtrack.

The film stars new actors like Asad Zaman and Rabia Butt in the lead roles. Other actors include Jamal Shah, Nadeem Baig, Ayub Khoso and Sana Nawaz (Item Number). The film will be released on 22nd April, 2016 by HUM Films.

Full Album of 'Maalik' Released

The full music album of upcoming Pakistani movie Maalik has been released. Its music is composed by very known music composer Sahir Ali Bagga. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Masoom A. Anwar and Sahir Ali Bagga lend voices to the soundtrack. Lyrics has been penned by Imran Raza.

Maalik is directed by Dhuwan fame Ashir Azeem. The cast includes Farhan Ali Agha, Ashir Azeem, Sajid Hassan, Muhammad Ehtashamuddin, Hassan Niazi, Adnan Shah Tipu, Lubna Aslam, Erum Azam etc. The film will release Nationwide on Friday, 8th April.

Saba Qamar To Star With Yasir Hussain In The Sequel of Karachi Se Lahore

Karachi Se Lahore was one of the biggest hits of 2015. The film was loved by the audience and it collected around 10 crores in Pakistan. The most loved character of KSL was Moti which was played by Yasir Hussain. The good news is that Moti is returning but this time his friends Zaheem (Shehzad Sheikh) and Sam (Ahmed Ali) will not be a part of his journey.

The sequel of Karachi Se Lahore will begin on the next morning following the events of KSL with Moti embarking on a similar road trip but this time, to the northern areas of Pakistan. More than 70% of the film will be shot in Lahore, Islamabad and Northern areas while songs will be shot in Karachi.

The leading lady in the sequel is the Pakistani TV superstar Saba Qamar. She will play the role of an urban girl. Saba Qamar made her film debut in 2015 with the Blockbuster Manto.

The rest of the cast of KSL will only be seen in cameo appearances for the film. The film also stars veteran actor Behroz Sabzwari with music composed by Shiraz Uppal.

The sequel of KSL is written by Yasir Hussain. He also wrote the first installment of KSL and the recent Blockbuster Ho Mann Jahaan. The film is expected to go on floors in March and is expected to release on Eid-ul-Azha but it might be rescheduled if needed.

We hope that the second installment of Karachi Se Lahore will also entertain Pakistani audience and do well at the BoxOffice. Made In Pakistan wish best of luck to the whole team of Karachi Se Lahore.

Fawad Khan will play Alamgir in 'Albela Rahi'

After Manto and Shah, another biopic is ready to hit the floors soon. Albela Rahi is a biopic on legendary singer Alamgir's life. The actor who will play Alamgir in the film is non other than Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan.

Alamgir also shared his feelings through video conference. The film will be produced by the production company called the Fog Catcher and directed by Sultan Ghani. The release date, the shooting schedule, and the rest of the cast is not revealed. Fawad Khan will also be doing Bilal Lashari's Maula Jatt. It is a very good news for Fawad Khan fans in Pakistan that he is doing two Pakistani movies.

Osman Khalid Butt and Ainy Jaffri will star in Haissam Hussain's 'Balu Mahi'

Famous TV Director Haissam Hussain has finalized the cast of his movie 'Balu Mahi'. Haissam is known for many Blockbuster TV Serials like Dastaan, Durr-e-Shahwar and Aunn Zara. The film will be produced by famous TV and Film Producer Sadia Jabbar. The shoot is slated to begin later this month.

The film will star Osman Khalid Butt and Ainy Jaffri in the lead roles. The music will be composed by Sahir Ali Bagga and DOP by Saleem Daad.

We hope that Haissam Hussain will create his magic on the big screen too and the film will be an addition to the standard films being made these days.

Revenge Of The Worthless Postponed ONCE AGAIN

Veteran actor Jamal Shah's directorial Revenge Of The Worthless was first scheduled to release last year on 22nd May. Then, it was postponed due to Zimbabwe's tour of Pakistan. Recently, its new release date was announced i.e. 15th January, 2016.

Now, the film has been postponed ONCE AGAIN. According to Actor/Director Jamal Shah : "Due to some technical issues the DCP (digital cinema prints) haven’t been received as of yet. In a week we are hoping to get the DCPs and then will decide on a release date with proper publicity and promotion."

We hope that next release date will be final and the film finally sees the light of the day on that date. Next scheduled release is Hijrat on January 21. Its distribution partner is HUM Films but HUM Network is not promoting the film which means that Hijrat will also be postponed.

We have no idea why these filmmakers are playing games with the public. We request Pakistani filmmakers to release their movies with better strategy and promotions.

The Makers of Na Maloom Afraad Are Back with 'Actor In Law'

Actor In Law is an upcoming Pakistani movie directed by Nabeel Qureshi (the director of Na Maloom Afraad) and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza (producer of Na Maloom Afraad). The main cast includes Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, Alyy Khan, Rehan Sheikh, Talat Hussain and Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri.

The cast and crew of the film held a press conference in Karachi and revealed some important details about Actor In Law. The press meet seeks the attention of media and public and started trending on Twitter also. The makers revealed that this film is Different and its a social comedy.

Producer Fizza revealed that apart from the ensemble cast, some other big names will also be seen in her second production. “It will be a big surprise for everyone as people have agreed to be a part of the film even for one dialogue and scene. It is amazing, hats off to them,” she said.

Actor In Law will be distributed by Urdu 1 Films and it will be their first Pakistani film.

Director Nabeel shared that first spell of the shoot is about to end and the film is slated to release this year on Eid-ul-Azha.

Bilal Lashari casted Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi in 'Maula Jatt'

The director of Waar, Bilal Lashari has announced the lead actors of his dream project Maula Jatt. Fawad Khan will play the character of Maula Jatt and Hamza Ali Abbasi will play the villain Noori Nath in the film.

Bilal has known Fawad since school days and he is well aware of the aggressive side of the romantic hero. That was perhaps why he had Fawad in mind for Maula Jatt even before Waar was released.

Maula Jatt's enemy Noori Nath will be played by our Pyarey Afzal Hamza Ali Abbasi. We have seen Hamza in romantic and comedy roles but first time he will a villain on the big screen.

The female leads of the film are not revealed yet. So, we all have to wait for the announcement of leading ladies of Maula Jatt and we hope that this film will be made well and the Waar director will give us another Blockbuster. Best of luck to the whole team of Maula Jatt.

Sarmad Sultan Khoosat wins Best Actor award for 'Manto' at Jaipur International film festival in India

Manto was released in 2015 in Pakistan and collected over 5 Crores PKR and declared a Blockbuster in Pakistan. Now, Manto has won hearts in India as it receives two awards at the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2016.

Sarmad Sultan Khoosat won the Best Actor award for Manto. He was also the director of the film. The film also managed to take home Best Sound and Editing Award in the same category.

Congratulations to Sarmad and the whole team of Manto and best of luck for future.

Official Poster of 'Ishq Positive' Revealed

Ishq Positive is an upcoming Pakistani movie directed by filmstar Noor Bukhari. Its lead actors are Noor and Wali Hamid Ali Khan (the son of singing legend Ustad Hamid Ali Khan). Other prominent cast members include Saud, Saim Ali, Ahmed Ali, Faria Bukhari and Durdana Butt. Its music launch was held in Lahore a few days ago and its official poster was revealed today.

The poster has the tagline Think Positive Do Positive with Ishq Positive. Talking about the film, Noor said 80% of the work is already wrapped up and hoped the audiences will appreciate the efforts of the team behind Ishq Positive. It is slated for an April 2016 release.
